Hi, I’m Brodie King.

I was born in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, into a large extended family where we spent most of our time outdoors. Growing up my father and brother were both builders so I decided to break the mold and try a different career path, only to find myself with an apron on and a hammer in my hand a couple of years later, learning to build.

After learning my trade, I decided to build houses in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty. Choosing to leave a great job with projects on the go to head out on my own may have given me a few greys, however, the risk paid off. Helping people create family homes and spaces to enjoy and create memories in, was exactly what I was after.

If I am not on a construction site you will find me in the the outdoors, whether it is playing racquet sports, golf, hiking, fishing, diving or just spending time with family and friends, this is where I will be.

At King Construction we pride ourselves on having good communication, transparency and respect. As I continue on my business journey, I am excited to see what the future has in store.

We guarantee to make the pre-build stage as enjoyable and as stress free as possible. We provide you with a working design brief based on your specific requirements together with a “budget estimate” so that together we can work more accurately with your chosen architect or draughtsman. After meeting with them we guarantee to provide you with a preliminary quote. This will allow you to refine your budget and make any changes before you pay for working drawings.

QUALITY BUILD GUARANTEE

Utilising progressive building techniques and innovative design we guarantee your investment is durable, practical and visually appealing. When we build we use only proven construction methods and quality materials.

PROGRESS PAYMENT GUARANTEE

Transparency is important in estimated agreement invoicing and we guarantee to provide clear, concise & itemised work, which includes all materials used. Before a staged payment invoice is prepared, we guarantee to have checked that everything in that stage is completed or is on site as specified in the Progress Payment schedule.

HALO GUARANTEE

Protects you from non-completion of the building work, defective workmanship, materials, structural defects and more. This is one of the most comprehensive guarantees on the market and we advise you to take it.

COMMUNICATION GUARANTEE

Communication is vital for a stress free build. We guarantee prompt and regular communication to keep you fully informed throughout the build. We conduct meetings throughout the design and building stages, and when questions arise we will reply within 48 hours.
